meet Sangeeta!
Sangeeta (she/her) is a California native who moved to Birmingham, Alabama in 2016 to pursue a PhD in neuroscience. As a self-taught jewelry maker & metalsmith for nearly 10 years, it wasn’t until she moved to Birmingham that e&o was able to put down some roots out & grow. & it really is a Magic little city- Sangeeta even met the love of her life on the steps outside her work.
Now after completing her doctorate work, Sangeeta is living her actual best life being able to focus on e&o full time. She lives with their sweet dog & two playful kittys in a bright, breezy home in San Diego. She loves the moon, rock climbing, craft beer & ramen, graphic novels, podcasts & handmade goods.
Even though actually dreaming up & creating jewelry is her favorite part of e&o, getting out in the community is a very close second. She is so happy that markets & workshops are finally back! It’s been unreal to be able to meet & connect with yall IRL. If you’re local to San Diego, swing by an event some time & say hi!
